RoomViz is committed to making room-viz.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim for conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the site and we treat accessibility as part of every new feature we ship, not an afterthought.
We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That includes keyboard navigation, sufficient color contrast, semantic HTML structure, focus management, and clear text alternatives for non-text content.
Accessibility on RoomViz is ongoing work. We continue to audit and improve keyboard support, focus visibility, alt text, and screen-reader behavior across the redesign and paint visualizer flows. We welcome reports of any issue you encounter, including issues with specific assistive tech or browser combinations.
The core RoomViz workflow has inherent visual-comparison steps. The before and after slider, in particular, is a primarily visual interaction that we are continuing to make more accessible to non-sighted users by providing descriptive alt text on generated images and clear textual summaries of what the AI changed. We acknowledge that a fully equivalent non-visual experience of the comparison step is still a work in progress.
If you find an accessibility barrier on our site, please email hello@room-viz.com with the URL, what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and the assistive tech and browser you were using. Detailed reports help us reproduce and fix issues quickly.
If a workflow on the site is blocking you, we can usually accommodate over email. Send us a note describing what you were trying to do and we will work with you to find another way to get you the same result.
For accessibility questions or requests, email hello@room-viz.com.
