This policy describes what data RoomViz collects when you use room-viz.com and why. We collect three categories of information: the photos you upload for visualization, account information you provide when you sign up, and payment data handled by our payment processor. We do not sell your personal information.
When you submit a photo for visualization, it is uploaded to our backend, forwarded to a third-party AI image-generation provider (Replicate), and the resulting visualization is stored along with the original to power your render history inside your account. Please do not upload photos containing sensitive information you do not want stored, such as documents, license plates, faces of other people without consent, or anything you would not want a third-party AI provider to process. You can request deletion of stored images at any time.
When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password, both managed by Supabase Auth. We never see or store your plaintext password. If you sign in via a social provider, we receive only the identifiers that provider releases to us, typically email and a unique user ID.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers, CVCs, and full billing details are entered directly into Stripe's checkout and never touch our servers. We receive only metadata such as the last four digits of the card, the customer ID, and the status of each charge so we can credit your account and handle support.
Image generation runs on Replicate, which processes your photos under its own privacy policy. Photos are sent over HTTPS. We send only the image and the prompt parameters needed to generate the visualization. We do not transmit your email or account identifier to the AI provider.
RoomViz uses a small set of trusted third-party services: Supabase for authentication and database storage, Stripe for payments, Replicate for AI image generation, and Railway for application hosting. Each operates under its own privacy and security policies.
We use Supabase session cookies to keep you signed in and Stripe cookies during checkout to process payments. We do not currently run third-party advertising trackers. Basic privacy-respecting analytics may be added in the future to understand aggregate usage, and this policy will be updated if that changes.
Render history and uploaded images are retained while your account is active so you can revisit past visualizations. To request deletion of your account, your images, or both, email hello@room-viz.com from the email on your account.
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
